An exciting, successful and injury-free season now lies behind me. It was long and exhausting, not least because I was able to take part in more races than I had expected at the start of the year.
We feel well prepared, fit and want to finally get a taste of competition again. But a glance at the menstrual cycle calendar may dampen our anticipation a little: the competition is in an “unfavorable” cycle phase! What should a woman do now?
Hello dear KickAss friends, Dani and Fia here. We’re writing to you together today to tell you about our first races of the season. The two of us have been at the start line of a triathlon together twice in the past few weeks.
As I reported in my last blog, I’ve been training with KickAssSports since October 2020 and since then my training plan has been tailored to my cycle. But what exactly does that mean?
So that you know who you can read something from once a month in future, I’d like to briefly introduce myself. My name is Sophia, although most people call me “Fia”. I’m 26 and come from what is probably the most triathlon-crazy county in the world, Roth!
