Founder & Managing Director

Philipp Seipp

Philipp is the brainchild and founder of KickAss Sports, a passionate coach and empathic analyst. He supports athletes as a mentor and coach in their athletic and personal development #potential #growth #effectiveness and sees people at the center of every performance.

In constant dialog, we can learn from and with each other, inspire each other and motivate each other that success is not a coincidence, but the art of finding your own individual path. Kickass Sports also gives you access to his training.

Founder and role model

Laura Philipp

Laura is a successful and above all passionate triathlete and the inventor of the Kickass feeling. As a person and triathlete, she symbolizes and unites our #Kickass values: the fighting spirit, the willpower and passion, the fun and ambition, the self-confidence and the considerate teamwork of body and mind – because performance can only come from and with a healthy body.

Her inimitable meticulousness is also reflected in her slogan “Wake up, work hard, look hot, kick ass”. And this is exactly how she has worked her way to the top of the world in the middle and long distance. But she remains unwaveringly grounded in human facts, doesn’t take the matter too seriously, but not herself, and always finds valuable potential in the details.

Managing Director Operations

John Richter

Alongside Philipp, John forms the management team of Kickass Sports and is primarily responsible for the operational business.

He has a background in sales and business development. His great passion, triathlon, brought him to Kickass. First as an athlete, now as team leader of a determined team.

John has a flair for people and their development. Through constant change and openness to new ideas, he finds creative solutions that drive both individual growth and the success of teams and organizations. For him, it’s about always going one step further and providing the right impetus for sustainable development.

Head of Coaches & Services

Lisa Löhnert

Lisa is our Head of Coaches & Services. She has a deep understanding of everyone and everything – regardless of what she is working on.

As a coach, it is particularly important to her not only to write a training plan, but also to understand the people behind the athletes. Her holistic approach is perfectly rounded off by her background in training science and her master’s degree in sports physiology and sports therapy. She attaches great importance to the health of her athletes and a good quality of movement so that they can enjoy the sport in the long term – true to the motto: Athletics for the win! – Because only when the bottom is running does the ham move forward! 😉

Lisa combines theory and practice and has a great feel for human interaction. In addition to her work at Kickass, Lisa is also active as a vaulting trainer. Club work with children and young people as well as voluntary work is a matter close to her heart.

Marketing & Business Development

Kathrin Delfs

Kathi is responsible for Marketing & Business Development. She also transfers her meticulousness and passion for sport to her professional life. She is committed and passionate about the further development of the product range at Kickass Sports.

Her many years of experience in the sporting goods industry are a great help here. Her positive and tireless energy is what is infectious and infectious.

And it is with this same energy and dedication that she has lived the triathlon. So she knows all about the emotional highs and lows in the sine curve of an ambitious athlete’s heart – especially those who want to juggle a career, competitive sport and being a mom. She mainly works remotely and lives on the Baltic coast with her husband, son and dog.

Coach

Imke Oerlerich

Imke is one of our two northern lights in the team. To study sports science, she first went to the German Sport University in Cologne and then on to the USA. Thanks to a sports scholarship for cross country and track running, she was able to study at Nova Southern University in Florida, where she completed an MBA with a focus on sports revenue generation. She then completed her master’s degree back in Cologne.

She has since moved back to her home country – she now lives on the island of Fehmarn with her husband and two daughters. As a successful sportswoman and trainer, Imke supports us in the Kickass Coaches team and fills her heart project Kickass Women in particular with lots of valuable experience.

Coach and bike fitter

Jan Rozic

Jan is one of the brains behind the Kickass bike fitting. He works at Kickass as a bike fitter and coach. His ability to make others laugh always ensures a good atmosphere in the team and keeps motivation high.

The good coffee that he likes to make for the others in the team and, of course, for athletes who come for a fitting may also help.

In addition to his sports science and biomechanics studies, Jan has spent the last few years working on road cycling and applies this experience to bike fitting and training planning. His meticulousness in creating the plans helps every athlete to progress in the shortest possible time and, above all, ensures that no two plans are the same.

Coach

Tim-Phillip Koch

Tim runs, makes music and motivates. He has a wide range of interests and can inspire others – which is why he is not only in good hands as a secondary school teacher for music and sport, but also as a running coach at Kickass Sports.

He himself has been highly motivated in running over many distances and now takes great pleasure in giving our runners the kickass feeling. His empathy and organizational skills bring structure and humanity to our holistic training approach.

Coach

Carmen Ohr

Carmen is passionate about exercise, health and endurance sports. It gives her great pleasure to pass this on to others, to motivate and inspire them and to achieve their sporting goals together with others.

Carmen initially ended up in the private sector. But she quickly realized that this was not the end of the line. She started her second career with a sports degree in order to do what really drives her: Getting people moving. She works as a coach at Kickass and is also employed in sports therapy and personal training in a physiotherapy practice. She herself has already lived out her passion for triathlon in many different ways and is still very enthusiastic about the sport today.

Rhona is one of the two working students in the team and provides support with a wide range of tasks and projects. Rhona’s strengths are her creativity, organizational skills and ability to work in a team.

Her enthusiasm for triathlon brought her to us! As well as working for us, she is studying to be a teacher of sport and English. When Rhona is not sitting at her desk – whether for her studies or in the office – you can find her doing sports or chilling with friends on the Neckarwiese.
