Challenge Roth questionnaire with Marco – after Camp Day I

Who are you and what makes you special?

I am Marco, 38 years old and I am a physiotherapist and osteopath. I am married and the father of a very lively son. I have been running my own practice for 8.5 years, which is set to grow significantly in the next few years.

What motivates you to do a long distance?

I don’t just want to get to know my own limits, I want to push them and develop mentally as a result. I want to be a role model for my children, patients and people around me. I want to show that you can achieve any goal, no matter how big or small, if you believe in it and work for it.

Why did you choose Challenge Roth?

Because of the atmosphere. So in addition to the exertion, there is also a bit of a party atmosphere.

Why did you decide to go on the Kickass trip?

I found out about Kickass and the Challenge Roth program through very good friends who also got me into triathlon. I immediately loved the concept and didn’t have to think about it for long.

What is your goal for the race? (Finish/time/fun…)

Finishing my first long distance and ideally having some fun during the longest ordeal of my life. If I can get a good time out of it, that would of course be great.

What gives you superpower in everyday life and/or training?

I love what I do and am grateful that I can do it (family and health-wise).
