Fehmarn – in the middle of the sea
The Baltic Sea island Fehmarn with its 2,000 hours of sunshine is also called the sun island. Great nature, lots of life, real island flair and lots of beach and sea, attract again and again many sportsmen to the island. Fehmarn is known as a hotspot for wind and water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, wingfoiling, sailing, stand up paddling or open water swimming. The many great cycling and running routes also offer ideal opportunities for cyclists and runners who do not shy away from the wind.
The X-Factor for water and wind sports enthusiasts
KickAss trainer and sports scientist Imke Oelerich started wingfoiling herself last year and knows how much body awareness, balance, but also strength and endurance water and wind sports require.
She is therefore certain that both wingfoiling and windsurfing, surfing, kiting or sup-boarding benefit from additional training tailored to the respective sport and training on land.
