The pools are opening up again and you’re looking for a plan to get back into swimming? Here’s a self-building plan to lay the long-awaited foundation back into swimming.
Since it’s been a long time since you last swam, the plan picks you up at your current level. Here, distances, lengths and loads for the shoulder build up slowly, allowing you a quick and healthy re-entry with good technique. 2 fixed and one optional session per week.

You haven’t been swimming for long, don’t feel 100% comfortable in the water yet and have completed a maximum of 2 swimming sessions per week in the past? Then Level 1 is the perfect way to get back into swimming.
Two swimming sessions per week have been a fixed part of your schedule in the past and you feel relatively comfortable in the water? Re-entry level 2 is the right place for you.
